Plasmodium falciparum: Sequencing of BSD-adapted strain 10G

Sequencing of the complete genomes of the P.falciparum 10G strain of 3D7 and two blasticidin (BSD)-adapted lines (10G-0.2ug/ml and 10G-0.6ug/ml). Our sequence analysis did not reveal any genetic differences associated with BSD selection at the clag3 locus or at other clag genes. Furthermore, a genome-wide analysis of the NGS data for 10G, 10G-0.2 and 10G-0.6 did not reveal any significant sequence differences associated with BSD selection.
