资源简介:

The model, in its current form has been deprecated as ArcGIS Pro will no longer support specific tools embedded in the model. Furthermore, enhancements to the Python environment have not been catered for, therefore further user intervention may be required. This GIS-based coastal inundation model, presented in ArcPy format, comprises of an enhanced bathtub model (eBTM) that attempts to improve on the single-value roughness eBTM by accepting a raster layer depicting variable user-defined surface roughness. The model was developed using ArcGIS 10.3 model builder and requires ArcGIS Spatial Analyst extension. The model was developed specifically in the coastal context to address coastal inundation hazard through the use of GIS where dynamic data (e.g. wind speed, direction etc.) and/or more sophisticated models are unavailable. The outputs are intended to assist decision-making processes related to coastal planning and risk mitigation/management. Overall, the model is an improvement on the simple bathtub model in that it considers hydrological connectivity to the coast, beach slope and user-defined surface roughness and is best used on focused (localised) study areas, with a high-resolution DEM, specifically a digital surface model. The output depicts potential inundation pathways based on topography and the maximum inland inundation limits based on the water level specified by the user.
