Collected municipal wastewater

Municipal wastewater collected by municipal wastewater sewers or other formal collection systems. This category considers the following collection systems: - Independent: Wastewater collected by individual private systems in place to evacuate and collect domestic and other wastewater in case where an urban collection system is not available. This includes the collection of wastewater by pit latrines and septic tanks. This also includes the transport of wastewater to treatment plants by means of trucks. - Collective: Wastewater collected from dwellings, commercial or industrial facilities by planned municipal sewer systems.
