ecology lab 3 bird transect dataset

This data set was collected at the York university Keele campus in the woodlot. 5, 25 meter transects were laid out and walked along for approximately 5 minutes each while spotting birds with bare eyes and looking at them more closely with binoculars. When a bird or group of birds was spotted they were counted the distance to them was estimated then there was an attempted to identify the birds while they were insight if nothing could be identified other than they were birds they were referred t as ub (unidentified birds) or if only some colors could be identified they were recorded by colours and if species was identified they were recorded as such. Also the wind speed was checked according to the Beaufort wind scale.
