This series is a summary of the affairs of the New South Wales Financial Institutions Commission (FINCOM) required for publication in the Freedom of Information edition of the Government Gazette. The summary includes practice notes, forms and letters issued by FINCOM in connection with the exercise of its functions under the financial institutions legislation (as the State Supervisory Authority).The summary is divided into three sections with the first section listing policy documents issued by the Commission, including practice, interpretive and informative notes; notes for forms; forms notes, letters, and circulars. The list in section one gives the title, file number, and date of issue of the document. The second section identifies the Commission’s most recent statement of affairs and section three provides details for inquiries, inspection, and purchase of policy documents.Summaries were produced in June and December for publication in the relevant Government Gazette.
