SL trans-splicing in Schistosoma mansoni

Although the SLTS must play several distinct roles in mRNA regulatory processes, the functions of this mechanism are not fully understood in S. mansoni, where a small proportion of mRNAs are thought to be trans-spliced. Here we propose a genome-wide characterization of the trans-spliced mRNA subpopulation for the S. mansion parasite.
