1With the exception of the last column, values in the upper triangle provide the minimal distance (in Å) between atom pairs in the two residue side chains, whereas values in the lower triangle quantify the pairwise electrostatic potential energy (expressed in kcal/mol). Values in the last column provide the minimal distance (in Å) between atom pairs of the electrostatic network residues and the catalytic Ser-70. The reported values are the average across the dataset, and the coefficient of variation is shown in the parentheticals (expressed as a percent).
