Resistome assembly and variation in a cyanobacterial bloom

The present study was initiated to investigate the impacts of cyanobacterial blooms on the resistome in a tropical freshwater body. Specifically, we aimed to illustrate (1) the variations of types and abundance of ARGs under different bloom conditions, (2) the potential ARG hosts and possibility of cyanobacteria being ARG carriers, (3) the impact factors on the resistome change during a cyanobacterial bloom; and (4) the interactions between cyanobacteria and potential ARG hosts.
