Transcriptome dataset of Phlebodium aureum ‘Mandaianum’

Total RNA was extracted from fern fronds of Phlebodium aureum ‘Mandaianum’. Following library preparation, paired-end sequencing was performed on the Illumina HiSeq 2500 platform. Reads were quality-checked (FastQC), trimmed (Trimmomatic), and assembled de novo (Trinity). Transcriptome completeness was assessed with BUSCO, coding sequences were predicted with TransDecoder, and functional annotation was performed using eggNOG Mapper to assign COG, GO, EC, KEGG, and Pfam classifications. This dataset includes the assembled transcriptome, predicted protein sequences, and annotation file, representing the first transcriptome resource for this species.
