资源简介:
Theory of OmissionThe novelist Earnest Hemingway developed in his writing what he called the Iceberg theory, or what came to be known as the Theory of Omission, indicating that only the tip of the iceberg is seen in fictional writing leaving much left to be un-discovered about an individual or their motives (McCarthy, 2018). The same is true with psychology and human behavior and the only way to discover what is being omitted is through targeted psychological testing and studies (Guyon, 2018; Guyon, Falissard, et al., 2017). The ability to care is important for anyone in public service. Recognizing the importance of measuring the ability to care for caregiving professionals is vital (Douglas, 2010; Lynch et al., 2021, Wolf, et al., 1998).ReferencesDouglas, K. (2010).
