Comparing leaf traits measured in the field with those estimated using data from Floras

These data are for the following publication: Cutts, V., Hanz, D. M., Barajas-Barbosa, M. P., Algar, A. C., Steinbauer, M. J., Irl, S. D. H., Kreft, H., Weigelt, P., Fernández‐Palacios, J. M. &amp; Field, R. (2021) Scientific floras can be reliable sources for some trait data in a system with poor coverage in global trait databases. <i>Journal of Vegetation Science</i>.<br>The tables contain trait values for native species from the Canary Islands. This includes data obtained from floras and data collected from field specimens. The data source is specified in each column. Traits included are: leaf length, leaf width, leaf area, leaf thickness and specific leaf area.
