资源简介:
This study examines the potential relationship between the level of poverty and social exclusion and avoidable death rates in two European country subsets: three countries from Western Europe (Italy, Germany, France) and the so-called "Visegrád" or "V4" countries (Hungary, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia). This paper employs data from 2015 to 2021 to examine trends in the variables under investigation, test hypotheses, and discuss the sociopolitical implications. The findings reveal significant disparities between the subsets and a moderate negative correlation between healthcare expenditure and avoidable deaths, thereby underscoring the role of systemic factors in shaping health outcomes.
