Spain visa processing time by consulate, 2025 to 2026: how long Spanish consulates in London, Manchester and the US take (My Spain Visa case data)
收藏资源简介:
How long does a Spain visa take? In the case files of My Spain Visa, a Spanish immigration law practice, the median wait from the visa centre appointment to the consulate's decision was 44 days (about 6 weeks) in 2025 and 2026, and the middle half of cases were decided in 30 to 80 days. Almost all were non-lucrative visas. Which Spanish consulate is fastest? Among the consulates with enough cases, San Francisco was the fastest (median 34 days) and London close behind (37 days). Manchester was the slowest, at 82 days, about 12 weeks. US consulates as a group took a median of 37 days and UK consulates 61 days. Waits got shorter in 2026: the median was 38 days, against 51 days for decisions in 2025. How long does the whole process take? From the day a client hired us to the day of the decision, the median was 133 days, about 19 weeks. Most of that time goes on getting, apostilling and translating documents before the BLS appointment. For comparison, each consulate publishes its own decision period, which it can extend if it asks for an interview or more documents: two months in London and three months in Manchester, San Francisco and most US consulates (October 2026). What is in this version: one summary table (CSV) with the median and the typical range (25th to 75th percentile, rounded to 5 days) by consulate, by country and by year, plus a README and a methodology note. Version 2 replaces the earlier file and leaves out case counts. Every group has at least 10 cases and there is no client data. Data as of 26 October 2026; past times do not predict future ones.
