PIVOTAL ROLES OF NIGERIAN UNIVERSITIES IN ACHIEVING THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS: PRESERVICETEACHERS’ VIEWS

This study assessed the extent to which Nigerian universities integrate the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into their curricula, research, and community development initiatives, while also identifying the challenges and best practices associated with such integration. The findings reveal a moderate level of awareness and implementation across the three thematic areas—teaching, research, and community engagement—highlighting both progress and persistent gaps.
