A transient intermediate RNA structure underlies the regulatory function of the E. coli thiB TPP translational riboswitch

Some RNA molecules form structural intermediates that can rearrange into functional forms to regulate gene expression. These sequencing datasets were generated using cotranscriptional and equilibrium-refolded SHAPE-Seq which measures structural information of intermediate RNA structures. The datasets describe the in vitro structures of intermediate lengths of the E. coli thiB TPP riboswitch in the presence and absence of 1mM TPP. These datasets serve as inputs into computational RNA structure modeling algorithms that can reconstruct models of folding pathways.
