Interview by Ewa Bal and Yana Partola with Agata Siwiak: curator and producer of theatre and interdisciplinary projects; assistant professor at the Department of Theatre and Media Arts at Adam Mickiewicz University. Currently associated with the Aleksander Zelwerowicz Theatre Academy in Warsaw. Member of the curatorial team of the Many Cultures Festival in Łódź. Since 2015, artistic director of the Bliscy Nieznajomi Theatre Meetings at the Polish Theatre in Poznań. In 2018-2019, a member of the programme team of the Warsaw Biennale and curator of the RePrezentacje. Nowa edukacja programme at this institution. In 2015, she was the curator (together with Grzegorz Niziołek) and producer of the POP-UP Theatre. Author and curator of the social and artistic programme Wielkopolska: Revolutions, implemented in 2012-2014 for the Local Government of the Wielkopolska Province. In 2008-2010, she was the artistic director of the Festival of Dialogue of 4 Cultures in Łódź (together with Grzegorz Niziołek). She co-created (together with Paweł Miśkiewicz) the Intermedia Theatre Forum baz@rt at the National Old Theatre in Kraków (2004-2006). The interview is part of the Spoken Archive of Polish-Ukrainian Cooperation in Theatre from 2014 to the present day, carried out at the Jagiellonian University as part of the National Science Centre grant No. 2024/53/B/HS2/02533 entitled Theatre as a laboratory of Polish-Ukrainian encounters from 2014 to the present day.
