The role of prosodic contours (squid_auditiv)

The present ERP study used picture-sentence verification to investigate the role of prosodic contours. Our paradigm had been previously used in written comprehension. In each trial, a context picture was presented, which was followed by a sentence containing the quantifier "alle". We investigated whether prosodic contours are incrementally considered for predicting potentially upcoming semantic revisions.  The current results  suggest that prosodic contours were not considered for predicting an upcoming quantifier domain restriction.
