The Northowram and Shelf ward dataset includes the ward map; demographic profile; Public Health England local health report; Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) factsheet; Public health data; a ward hex map; and primary and secondary school census data.
Northowram and Shelf ward is in north-east Calderdale, between Halifax and Bradford. Most of the built-up areas are along the main Halifax to Bradford road (A6036), and include Claremount, Stump Cross, Northowram, Stone Chair and Shelf. There are large areas of open countryside with scattered farms and steep valleys such as Shibden Dale. Shibden Hall and Park are in the south-west corner of the ward, by the A6036.
