资源简介:
RNA-seq assays were performed in two different growth phases of the filamentous fungus of Aspergillus nidulans to discover the genes whose expression is affected by the SclB transcription factor. We used two strains in this study: the wild-type (Wt) and a strain with a knockout of sclB gene. Two experimental conditions were chosen as well. In the first condition, RNAs were derived from mycelia growing for 20 hours under vegetative growth conditions. In the second condition, RNAs were derived from mycelia that were initially grown vegetatively for 20 hours, then transferred for an additional 3 hours to asexual growth conditions. The produced transcriptomic data were combined with ChIP-seq (genome-wide in vivo binding profiling) data of SclB, under the same growth conditions to identify finally the direct target genes of the SclB during the transition of the fungus from the vegetative to the asexual growth, in a genome-wide scale.
