We discover the molecular events involved in overwintering and increased disease severity between consecutive dengue virus serotype 2 outbreaks from 2001 to 2003 in Taiwan. The virus evolved from the early-epidemic strain (Ia) to the late-epidemic strains (Ib and II), featuring three amino acid differences. The data for plaque and foci morphology in Figures 1 and 2, is provided.

本研究揭示了2001至2003年间台湾地区连续发生的登革热病毒血清型2暴发中,越冬期间以及疾病严重程度加剧所涉及的分子事件。病毒从早期流行株(Ia)进化至后期流行株(Ib及II),表现出三个氨基酸差异。图1和图2中提供的斑点板和焦点形态数据得以呈现。
