The Focus Area East Hessian low mountain ranges (132) (Roßberg et al., 2007) is located in north-eastern Hesse, Germany. It encompasses one primary research site: Neu-Eichenberg (https://doi.org/10.4228/zalf-r29f-ba86). It also includes several Farms where research is done. This region is characterised by its rolling hill landscape, with an elevation ranging from 150 to 900 meters, influencing the local climate and soil conditions.
