Quantitative evaluation of LED based optical autofocus module This dataset is used to quantify the performance of an autofocus system, openAF with LED /SLD, using a 2D astigmatic autocorrelation defocus model. There are two folders for each autofocus light source: LED without background subtraction LED with background subtraction SLD without background subtraction SLD with background subtraction Each folder contains the experimental dataset: a reference bead z-stack, time-lapse of the astigmatic 100 nm fluorescent beads obtained during the operation of the openAF autofocus and the autofocus metadata. Additionally, the pre-computed values of astigmatic defocus using autocorrelation model as presented in the paper are included. "Range_exp" folder contains the experimental data for evaluation the optical range of the LED openAF.
