To investigate the differently expressed genes treated with DMSO, extracts of Rhizoma Coptidis and its main alkoids berberine, coptisine and palmatine Overall design: Total RNAs were extracted from RAW264.7 cells treated with PBS, DMSO, Rhizoma Coptidis, berberine, coptisine and palmatine. Gene-expression profiling was performed on the CapitalBio 32k mouse Genome Array microchips (Beijing, China). Differentially expressed genes and pathway analysis was based on comparison of different drug treated samples vs. DMSO.
