Dickeya zeae Raw sequence reads

Dickeya zeae strain CE1 is the causal agent of bacterial soft rot on the important economic crop, Canna lily, Canna edulis Ker-Gawl., in China. The early symptoms of this emerging disease include darkened and water-soaked necrotic lesions at the basal stems. The lesions spread quickly and the tissues become soft and rotten, resulting in collapse of whole plants. Since discovery, this bacterial disease has become of the important disease affecting the growth of C. edulis and caused significant losses. The purpose of this study is to perform comparative genomics of this pathogen with other Dickeya zeae strains from different hosts.
