Field measurements of inherent and apparent optical properties were measured along with other observational data at the Melbourne Water's Western WTP field site. Laboratory measurements of water samples collected at the WTP were analysed for concentrations of chlorophyll, phycocyanin and TSS. Absorptions of filtered and unfiltered water samples and HPLC analysis undertaken. These measurements are used to parameterise Earth Observation models to derive water quality parameters.\nLineage: The laboratory measurements were undertaken by the CSIRO O&A in Hobart.
