Traditional and non-traditional volcanic fallout from 700 to 1300 CE measured in four Greenland ice cores

Traditional (e.g., non-sea-salt-Sulfur) and non-traditional (e.g., insoluble particles, non-crustal thallium, non-crustal bismuth, non-sea-salt chlorine) fallout measured continuously in an array of four Greenland ice cores were used to investigate explosive and quiescent volcanic emissions during the period 700 to 1300 CE (Gabriel et al., 2024). This dataset includes annually averaged measurements in the Tunu2013, North Greenland Traverse B19, North Greenland Ice Core Project core 2 (NGRIP2), and North Greenland Eemian Ice Drilling 2011 shallow core 1 (NEEM_2011_S1) ice cores.
