China Family Panel Studies (CFPS) is a national, large-scale, multi-disciplinary social tracking survey initiative. It is conducted by the Center for Chinese Social Science Surveys at Peking University, aiming to track and collect data at three levels—individual, family and community—so as to reflect the changes in China's society, economy, population, education and health. This project focuses on the economic and non-economic well-being of residents, with its sample covering 25 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions.
