资源简介:
Supporting data collected from Prince George and Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada in 2022-2023. Camera traps (Reconyx™ HyperFire 2 Covert IR remote cameras; Holmen, WI, USA) were deployed in a stratified random design. We initially selected 50 sites per array. While 50 cameras were deployed in Prince George South (PGS), only 39 were deployed in Bonaparte. Stratification was conducted by dividing the landscape into 1-km grid cells, and stratifying using quantiles of proportions of cutblock age classes in each cell - new (0 – 8 years since harvest), regenerating (9 – 24 years), and older (25 – 40 years). Cameras were deployed at least 2-km apart from each other, typically facing north at a height of ~1.5 meters on a tree facing a game trail. We applied commercial scent lure at each camera site. Cameras were programmed with the following: 1 photo per trigger, high sensitivity, no delay in quiet period, and timelapse photo at 12:00pm daily. 2. Methods for processing the data: The methods for processing data are fully detailed in R code scripts. 3. Instrument- or software-specific information needed to interpret the data: R statistical software https://www.r-project.org/.
