Interview Guide: Exploring AI Use, Agency, and Identity in Everyday Work
收藏资源简介:
This interview guide is designed for semi-structured qualitative interviews examining how individuals experience and integrate generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) and AI agents into their everyday work practices. The guide explores users’ relationships with AI across concrete situations, focusing on perceived agency, authorship, delegation, trust, and emotional responses to AI autonomy. In addition, it investigates how AI use influences self-concept, professional identity, and perceived skill development, as well as disclosure practices, moral considerations, and identity-related tensions. By contrasting generative AI with classical IT tools (e.g., Excel, Word), the guide aims to capture what is fundamentally novel about GenAI from an experiential and identity-based perspective. The interview concludes with a reflective stimulus based on an established IT identity scale to elicit participants’ interpretations of identity-related statements in the context of AI. Overall, the guide supports in-depth exploration of human–AI interaction, AI identity formation, and the shifting boundaries between tool use and co-creation in contemporary work settings.
