新发射的Sentinel卫星,在“时-空-谱”分辨率均较传统卫星有很大提升。Sentinel-2 增加了对植被更加敏感的红边波段,可以克服基于传统卫星数据反演LAI受到时间、空间、光谱分辨率的限制问题,全方位提高作物LAI反演精度与频度。产品数据集以季度为单位,包含中国东北、黄淮海、长江中下游地区,以及美国、巴西和阿根廷粮食主产区的农作物、森林和草地。该时序产品有助于进行重点区域作物长势、森林监测等的应急监测。
The newly launched Sentinel satellites have significantly enhanced temporal, spatial and spectral resolutions compared to traditional satellites. Sentinel-2 incorporates red-edge bands that are more sensitive to vegetation, which can overcome the limitations of temporal, spatial and spectral resolutions when retrieving LAI using traditional satellite data, and comprehensively improve the accuracy and frequency of crop LAI retrieval. This quarterly dataset covers major grain-producing regions including Northeast China, the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain, the Middle and Lower Reaches of the Yangtze River, as well as the United States, Brazil and Argentina, and includes crops, forests and grasslands. This time-series product facilitates emergency monitoring of crop growth status, forest conditions and other related aspects in key regions.
