LC-MS method for the determination of the kynurenine pathway metabolites to support the discovery of serum biomarkers - application to gastrointestinal cancer patients

Tryptophan metabolism play a crucial role in tumorigenesis and progression, and its metabolites emerge as potential diagnostic markers for gastric and pancreatic cancers. Dataset contains quantitative data on serum concentration of tryptophan and kynurenine pathway metabolites in healthy controls and patients diagnosed with gastric or pancreatic cancers. Characteristic of serum donors were also provided.
