Whole-Genome Resequencing Data of Taenioides sp. for Invasion Pathways and Adaptive Evolution Study

This study utilizes whole-genome re-sequencing data of Taenioides sp, a species that has successfully invaded freshwater environments along China South-to-North Water Diversion Project. The research aims to identify the genetic basis of the species rapid adaptation to new habitats and to uncover the invasion pathways and selective pressures driving its spread. The findings will provide valuable insights into the genetic mechanisms underlying adaptive evolution and species invasion in changing ecosystems.
