Directory of farms certified "High Environmental Value"

### High Environmental Value (HVE) The High Environmental Value (HEV) corresponds to the 3rd level, the highest, of the environmental certification of farms. Since February 2012, when the scheme was implemented, the number of certified farms has been increasing every year. More than 39 000 farms (precisely 39 772 farms – figure as of 1 July 2024) can claim to be ‘High Environmental Value’, proof of their commitment to practices that respect the environment and biodiversity. ### The "HVE Farm Directory" dataset #### Dataset content This file contains all French farms, certified HVE (High Environmental Value) on 1 July 2024, which have agreed to appear in this directory. #### Dataset Format The dataset is made available to you in Excel format and in csv format, you will find below the description of the fields: - Name or company name (text) - Address (text) - Postal code (text) - Region (text) - Department (text) - Commune (text) - Website (text) - Main activity (animal sector) (text), values among: 'Beekeeper', 'Other', 'Milk Cattle', 'Meat Cattle', 'Caprines', 'Equidae', 'Eggs', 'Sheep', 'Porcins', 'Volailles', (empty) - Main activity (plant sector) (text), values among: 'Arboriculture', 'Other crops', 'Large crops', 'Horticulture', 'Maraichage', 'Viticulture', (empty) - Direct sale (text), values among: 'YES', 'NO', (empty) - Date of certification (date (DD/MM/YYYY))
