DSMU-RAD: Dynamic, Static and Motion Users Radar Dataset

We used the AWR1843BOOST radar along with the DCA1000EVM for hand gesture data acquisition, configured as shown in Table I. To comprehensively evaluate the proposed method, we introduce a novel radar-based dataset, namely DSMU-RAD (Dynamic, Static and Motion Users Radar Dataset). To the best of our knowledge, DSMU-RAD is the first dataset that incorporates a diverse set of hand gestures while the user is in motion, thereby addressing a critical challenge in real-world gesture recognition. In addition, the dataset includes human body motions to highlight the robustness of both the dataset and our proposed approach in distinguishing between gestures and natural human movements
