Cleaned occurrence records and SDM parameters of Zeugodacus tau in China

This dataset contains the cleaned, spatially independent occurrence records of the South Asian fruit fly (Zeugodacus tau) in China. These data were compiled and processed for use in Species Distribution Modeling (SDM), specifically to predict the potential geographical shifts of the pest under various future climate change scenarios using MaxEnt.To mitigate the effects of spatial autocorrelation and sampling bias, the initial occurrence records were subjected to a rigorous spatial rarefaction process. We utilized the 'spThin' package in R to perform spatial thinning. The spatial thinning distance was set to 5 km. This specific radius was chosen to strictly match the spatial resolution (2.5 arc-minutes, approximately 5 km × 5 km) of the WorldClim bioclimatic variables utilized in our projection models. Following the spThin filtering process, a total of 139 highly independent occurrence records were retained for final modeling.
