资源简介:
The ‘Pôle Régional d'Observation de l'activité Volcano-tectonique d'Auvergne et d'Ardèche (PROVA²)’ is an initiative of the Observatoire de Physique du Globe de Clermont-Ferrand (OPGC) and of the Laboratoire Magmas et Volcans (LMV), with the support from national (via the CNRS-INSU National Observation Services) and international collaborators, as well as Epos-Fr. The main goal is to federate research, observation and communication activities related to volcano-tectonic activity in the youngest volcanic provinces of the French Massif Central. As an example, in 2021-2022, an exceptional seismic swarm was recorded at crustal level beneath the Monts Dore volcanic province, where the last known eruption occurred about 7,000 years ago. Since then, spatial and temporal multi-methods surveys are performed and continue on a regular basis in various sectors of interest in Auvergne and Ardèche, around 6 complementary themes: seismicity, fluid geochemistry, deformation, geophysical imaging, petrogeochemistry, and geology.
