资源简介:
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, each year as many as 300,000 young people suffer traumatic brain injuries (TBIs), or what is more commonly known as a concussion, from playing sports. TBIs can have serious short and long-term health effects, and all states have passed laws aimed at reducing harm from brain injuries occurring during youth sports activities.
This dataset identifies and displays key features of such laws across all 50 states and the District of Columbia, and over time.
