This dataset is the China Tourism Database (Monthly Composite, 2000–2016). It is sourced from the National Tourism Administration of China, and was reprocessed and consolidated by this center in accordance with project requirements, based on EPS DATA (website: http://olap.epsnet.com.cn/) by reorganizing the original data along time-series and regional dimensions. Its core content includes monthly statistics covering national inbound tourist arrivals, inbound foreign tourist arrivals, inbound overnight tourist arrivals, inbound tourism (foreign exchange) revenue, and international tourism (foreign exchange) revenue. The dataset is provided in Excel format.
