Whole genome sequencing data were generated from patient derived gastric cancer organoids and matched peripheral blood mononuclear cells. Organoids were established from malignant ascites or pleural effusion samples obtained from patients with metastatic gastric cancer. Sequencing was performed using the Illumina NovaSeq X platform to characterize genomic alterations.
