This dataset contains data underlying the publication: <em>"Estimation of above‐ground biomass of large tropical trees with terrestrial LiDAR"</em> and consists of the following data folders: <br> 1_ReferenceMeasurementData (Destructive sampling tree AGB data): Destructive sampling measurement data of 29 large tropical trees from 3 sites (Indonesia, Peru and Guyana) for estimating tree wood volume and tree AGB. <br> 2_AllometricEqInventoryData (Forest inventory data): Forest inventory data of 29 individual large tropical trees from 3 sites (Indonesia, Peru and Guyana) for estimating tree AGB with allometric equations. <br> 3_QsmCylinderData (Quantitative Structure Models): Quantitative Structural Models (QSM) cylinder model outputs (3D tree architecture models), generated from the individual TLS point cloud data of 29 large tropical trees from 3 sites (Indonesia, Peru and Guyana). <br> 4_LidarTreePoinCloudData (TLS tree point cloud data): TLS point cloud data for 29 large tropical trees in 3 study sites: Indonesia (peat swamp forest in Central Kalimantan, Borneo), Peru (lowland tropical moist forest in Madre de Dios) and Guyana (lowland tropical moist forest in Cayuni-Mazaruni).

本数据集支撑以下发表论文:《基于地面激光雷达(terrestrial LiDAR)的大型热带树木地上生物量估算》,并包含以下数据文件夹: 1_ReferenceMeasurementData(破坏性采样树木地上生物量数据):采集自印度尼西亚、秘鲁、圭亚那3个研究站点的29棵大型热带树木的破坏性采样测量数据,用于估算树木木材体积与地上生物量(above-ground biomass, AGB)。 2_AllometricEqInventoryData(森林清查数据):采集自上述3个站点的29棵大型热带树木的森林清查数据,用于通过异速生长方程估算树木地上生物量。 3_QsmCylinderData(定量结构模型数据):基于上述3个站点29棵大型热带树木的地面激光扫描(Terrestrial Laser Scanning, TLS)点云数据生成的定量结构模型(Quantitative Structure Models, QSM)圆柱模型输出结果(三维树木结构模型)。 4_LidarTreePoinCloudData(地面激光扫描树木点云数据):3个研究站点的29棵大型热带树木的TLS点云数据,其中3个站点分别为:印度尼西亚(婆罗洲加里曼丹中部的泥炭沼泽林)、秘鲁(马德雷德迪奥斯地区的低地热带湿润林)、圭亚那(卡尤尼-马扎鲁尼地区的低地热带湿润林)。
