Atherosclerosis (AS) is a multiple factors-involved chronic inflammatory disease in the arterial wall, and is the dominant cause of cardiovascular disease (CVD). Based on this hypothesis, several circRNAs are considered play crucial role in the regulation mRNA expression by competitive binding miRNA response elements. Meanwhile, our previous study found several circRNAs that may be involved in the pathogenesis of AS.However, the molecular mechanisms underlying how circRNA regulates endothelial cells (ECs) abnormal transformation in AS by miRNAs remain unknown.Thus, we indentified the miRNA and mRNA expression profiles and screened DE RNA species after overexpression of two above identified circRNAs through using microarray analysis. Human umbilical vein endothelial cells were treated with overexpression of hsa_circ_0122319 (n=2), hsa_circ_0002457 (n=2) and NC (n=1).
