This dataset contains RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) data generated from spleen tissues of BALB/c mice following immunization with an attenuated herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1 ΔICP34.5ΔICP47 N).BALB/c mice were immunized twice with HSV-1 ΔICP34.5ΔICP47 N at a two-week interval, while control mice received phosphate-buffered saline (PBS). Spleens were collected for total RNA extraction and RNA-seq library preparation.The prepared libraries were sequenced on an Illumina platform by Chi Biotech (Shenzhen, China). This dataset enables analysis of host transcriptional and immune-related gene expression changes induced by HSV-1–based immunization.
