These loci were identified by PLACO at a suggestive threshold of 10−6. The genetic overlap analysis is based on all trios from both POFC and GENEVA for CL/P & CP, or CL & CP, or CLP & CP, or CL & CLP. The different types of novel genes are marked by * or ‡. The “No. of trios” columns give the numbers of complete informative case-parent trios as used by the gTDT method in analyzing each OFC subgroup/subtype. CL/P & CP PLACO p-value < 5 × 10−8 for a SNP indicates statistically significant association of the SNP with both CL/P and CP at the genome-wide level. Similar interpretations for the other PLACO p-values: CL & CP, or CLP & CP, or CL & CLP. PLACO p-value < 10−6 is considered suggestive evidence of genetic overlap.
