We cross-sectionally examined various interstitial lung diseases (ILDs) via spatial transcriptomics and single-cell RNA-Seq (scRNA-seq) analysis of human samples. We unveiled crucial gene expression patterns and molecules central to fibrosis, establishing prognostic significance of this molecule in unclassifiable ILDs. We performed spatial transcriptomic analysis on 24 cryobiopsy specimens of patients with a variety of ILDs.
