NRS-4837 | Treasury advance cash books

Each volume consists of cash debit and contra credit sheets. The cash debit sheets give the following: date of payment with bank, abstract number, on what account, amount, total and date of adjustment. The contra credit sheets give the following: date, abstract number, cheque number, claimant, particulars of service, ledger folio, period (from/to), amount, total and head of service. From May 1921-June 1924 (3/5608) a list of outstanding cheques is appended. After June 1924 similar information can be found in the Expenditure cash sheets, Jul 1924-Jun 1947 (3/5580-604).
