The Archiving Preservation and Cataloguing of Historical Materials History Grants scheme was set up to provide funds from the NSW Centenary of Federation Committee to support the preservation of important historical documents, objects and journals in need of conservation and/or documentation, particularly those in regional New South Wales. A group of experts was invited to assess application forms.These are the successful History Grant application files for the Archiving, Preservation and Cataloguing of Historical Materials. Where there is a report on the end product, this has been included.The series is a mixture of A4 file folders, audio CDs and CD-ROMs. The files in the series are arranged in a numeric sequence. This numbering was allocated on receipt of the grant application. The small letter “a” was allocated to the Archiving Preservation and Cataloguing of Historical Materials history grants and then these were managed as a separate series.
