These data refer to the survival and the healthspan of male mice of C57BL/6J, CD1, and Sv129Ev strain in response to lifelong chronic psychosocial stress (LCPS). Mice lifespan and healthspan were evaluated as a function of strain as well as of contextual aggressive behavior synthesized as a novel aggression index and indicative of coping style and social standing. DNA methylation data were analyzed in liver samples with the mouse DNA methylation array BeadChip by Illumina and all the raw data are deposited in NCBI Gene Expression Omnibus
