We mainly focused on climatology during 2007–2012 because air temperature, precipitation, and snow data were avail- able for many more stations during that period. To ensure a robust inter-comparison among these stations, the climatology for each variable was calculated for all stations with at least 5 years of available records during 2007–2012.
