Finite Element Model Updating for Rate-Dependent Plasticity: Application to Impact Experiments on Additively Manufactured Metals
收藏官方服务:
资源简介:
This dataset supports the identification of rate-sensitive plasticity parameters using a Finite Element Model Updating (FEMU) approach based on Taylor impact experiments on additively manufactured metals. High-speed DIC measurements (~100,000 fps) provide time-resolved displacement data along the upper edge of the specimen. Finite element simulations are performed in LS-DYNA using a quarter-symmetry model with approximately 1,500 nodes and varying strain rates. Parameter identification is carried out using both gradient-based nonlinear optimization and a genetic algorithm, enabling a direct comparison of their performance.
