资源简介:
The dataset determines the synergetic effect of the physical mixing of coal with variable amounts of black liquor, an industrial by-product of pulp production. The blend composition and dispersion were with sample composition data from Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence (ED-XRF) and adjusted for alkali and alkaline metal composition within the literature-reported catalytic range of 1-9%wt. Three bituminous coal samples with varying reactivity and ash content were chosen to assess the influence of different coal components, such as the petrographic composition of the coal or mineral components, on the catalytic performance of the samples. Therefore, 12 of the resulting samples with different amounts of black liquor (5-20% by weight) were gasified in steam at elevated pressure and process temperatures in the range of 800-1000°C with online measurement of produced syngas. The data on syngas evolution allowed for the visualization of the catalytic process with the gas formation rate curves of the main components of the syngas such as hydrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and methane and the catalytic performance was evaluated with the calculation of specific parameters such as the formation rates and yields of syngas components and carbon conversion at various temperatures. Finally, the energy of activation and other kinetic parameters of the processes were calculated using the Isoconversional Model, Random Pore Model and Grain Model to ensure accurate evaluation. Consequently, the results of the experiment allowed for a description of the physical mixing efficiency in catalyst impregnation, and the optimal amount of black liquor additive was established
